George Gerswin was born september 26, 1898, in brooklyn, new york. His parents
were Moishe Gershovitz ( Morris gershwin or Gershwin either name), and Rose
Bruskin, were the both of Russian immigrants. Their first ever child, and the
Gershwins moved frequently near his place of employment service-22 times between
1895 and 1917.
His parents were not such musicians when george was
growing up, but in 1910, the family had purchased a piano , ostensity for their
eldest son. He became a clear musician. 2 years after he became a musician from
the instructor's neighborhood teacher, he was accepted as a student by Charles
Hambitizer , who was the one that took the youngster under his wing, intruduced
him for the concert and taught him piece by pieces by Claude Debussy, Franz
Liszt, and last but not least Fre'de'ric Chopin. He also composed a a song and
dreams moving from the Tin Pan Alley in 1917.
